○Hierarchy○ Within our pack, there are different ranks and, naturally, some hold higher power over the pack than others, but all are essential for our existence.

~·Rioga·~
Riogas serve as the kings and queens of the pack, ruling over all in the best way they can.
Riogas are the most respected pack members of all, and their word is final in all cases.
Riogas are usually from a long family line of royalty, the eldest of their litter and the children of previous Riogas.
Although it is most common for a parent – child lineage, on some occasions, siblings and cousins may take the position if no children or mates are had by the Rioga before they step down or pass on.
In the case that a Rioga takes a mate, their mate would also become a Rioga and the same powers as the regal born.
In the older days, children of the Riogas were betrothed to other pack members, and most often had little choice.
But since the rule of Grynor and Feriane, betrothal is no longer in use.
Beites serve as advisors to the Riogas, most often being close friends or relatives.
Beites themselves, whilst not having the stresses of being a Rioga, do have a lot to do, from organising hunting parties, to assisting in festivals and doing daily inspections.
Beites are usually chosen from a family line of Beites, but this is not always the case.
There is ever only two Beites, the chosen Beite, and the Beites chosen mate, if there is one.
The Nomhairle is in effect, a council made up of all representitives of the various pack units, including the Rioga and Beite.
If anything is to happen within the pack, a meeting is called up between the Nomhairle members so they can make their opinions heard and cast their votes, so to speak.
The Nomhairle also collectively handle the organisation of festivals; one of particular mention is All Hallow’s Eve.
Taireacht serve as messengers for the Nomhairle, and issue attendance requests to the committee in the event of a meeting, they are also sent to neighbouring, allied packs to send invitations to festivals and important meetings.
Taireacht are chosen by the Beites, being chosen for their obedient natures and good memory, additional traits that Taireacht are chosen for is speed, as it is needed in order to deliver urgent messages.
The Orduithe is the warlord of the pack, and is also a Nomhairle member.
The Orduithe is in charge of all offensive, protective and tactical forces within the pack, organising patrols and guard shifts and locations, they also give a daily report to the Beite, who then refers the information to the Rioga.
Orduithes, more often than not, do not have mates, as they are usually entirely, even to the point of obsession, with the wellbeing of the pack.
Yiune are essentially spies and scouts, carrying out infiltration based examinations into new or enemy packs, a job that in itself carries a large risk.
Yiune are chosen by the Orduithe for their quick wit, speed and overall stealth.
There is only ever two Yiune, and, despite this, they are very well equipped for their job.
Slioch are tasked with guarding the Rioga and their family, and also serve as Nomhairle guards at meetings to prevent any unwanted intrusions, or fights, if it entails another pack.
Slioch are hand-picked by the Cloch Captain, who picks the strongest of their rank who is obedient and well equipped to guard.
There is always four Slioch; the day shift, and the night shift.
Haocean, picked by the Orduithe, are the captains of the Laochra rank, and ensure that the fighters they are tasked with train and reach optimum condition.
Haocean commonly accompany the Orduithe to Nomhairle meetings, under the Orduithes express permission.
Under the Haocean, Laochra are the fighters and offensive force to the pack, essentially the army.
They are trained by the Haocean vigorously until they are fit to serve; in battle, Laochra units, consisting of five individuals per unit, have their own tactics in bringing down their quarry.
Laochras are also efficient hunters, and often aid in hunting expeditions.
Klochea, who are also picked by the Orduithe, are tasked with overrunning the Cloch rank, ensuring that the guards follow their shifts and stick to their posts.
Klochea also organise morning patrols of the territory and sometimes midday and night time patrols as well, if there is significant threat.
Klochea, like Haocean, commonly accompany the Orduithe to Nomhairle meetings.
The Waegrah is a wise and respected representative for the Sages of the pack and is a Nomhairle member, acting as a powerfull healer and teacher.
Oddly, most Waegrah are actually female; it is rare to have a male Waegrah.
The Waegrah is also a seer, although not a particularly powerful one; the most common time for the Waegrah to use their ability is around the time of All Hallows Eve.
The Waegrah also performs burials if a pack member dies, burning incense to guide their spirit into the next world.
Amhaicea are powerful seers, receiving vivid visions within their dreams and sometimes in their waking hours, foretelling future or past events, containing warnings and predictions of what is to come, mumbling throughout their episode, often leaving their listeners to interpret their message until they come around.
There is usually very few Amhaicea, and the ones that are around are usually skittish and quiet, preferring to stay inside the den, rarely coming outside unless they have to.
Ahmaicea may be permanently affected by particularly strong visions, some becoming mute, deaf and blind; sometimes, although very, very rarely, an Ahmaicea can even die from an incredibly terrifying vision.
Daors are the workforce of the pack, doing everything from cleaning to hunting; they are also the most likely to have pups, as most males choose mates within the Daor populace.
